Release Date: 25Feb25
Features:
This release includes a number of new tools and user customizations for the non-diagnostic version. There are no changes for FlexView Diagnostic Viewer.
Viewer
- New functionality: Users can customize toolbar tools per modality. The toolbar is determined by the study’s primary modality (e.g., in a study with 5 CT and 1 SR, CT is the primary).
- New functionality: A context-aware radial menu provides quick access to tools based on the current viewport modality.
- New functionality: Users can customize mouse bindings for the measurement context menu and radial menu, choosing from left/right mouse, mouse wheel, and modifier keys (Alt, Ctrl, Shift).
- New functionality: Users can position the thumbnail panel at the top, bottom, or left of the screen.
- New Feature: Added radial menu short cut to hotkey settings
- New functionality: Admins can now define hanging protocols using a JSON editor.
- User suggested modification: When annotations are hidden, jumping to measurements in the series will now unhide that annotation.
- UI Improvements: Enhanced the user settings page UI/UX for better clarity and experience.
- UI improvement: Reduced thumbnail spacing based on customer feedback
- Fixed an issue affecting the rendering of incoming DICOM overlays from Amazon HealthImaging.
- UI Improvement: Adjusted abbreviations in Spine labeling
- UI Improvement: Added warning users if they attempt to jump to a non acquisition plane measurement
- UI Improvement: Adjust label for add/edit based on measurement status
- UI Improvement: Adjusted placement of scale in Cine to avoid overlap of tools controls.
- Restored datasource switching functionality based on URL params, using the `dataSource=` query param per customer request.

- Fixed issue where users received an Error message for applying the HP is displayed when selecting a MPR HP for a prior
- Fixed issue where the browser could crash when crosshairs are enabled and the user navigates between MPR and common layouts
- Fixed issue where performing a flip on a series that includes mixed orientations such as Axial, Sagittal, and Coronal, not retain the flip status/orientation upon navigating with a mouse.
- Fixed issue where the Scale overlay tool was being displayed in the capture image when it was toggled off in the viewport.
- Fixed issue where Scale was not appearing as expected on SR viewports

Platform
- Added subscriptions type for FlexView Standard & Diagnostic that will bill on unique study views starting at $0.20 per study.
- Fixed session timeout to ensure that users are logged out after 1 hour of inactivity, with a maximum session duration of 4 hours.
- FlexView access tokens now have a lifetime of 10 minutes, and need to be refreshed using the refresh token. The refresh token will become invalid if it doesn't interact with the authorization server for an hour, and the maximum refresh token lifetime is 4 hours regardless of interacting with the authorization server.
- Enable Hanging protocol assignment to groups
- Fixed issue where edits made to user email address were not saved
Known limitations:
- Saving measurements requires STOW endpoint which may not be supported by some DICOMWeb datasources;
- Some datasources (ie Amazon HeathImaging) may not support all search queries and therefore search or filter on the study list will return no matches.
- Not yet recommended for use on mobile devices
Known Anomalies:
- Cannot view MPR or PET SUV in Safari v17.1; these features will work best in Google Chrome.
- Issues with segmentation loading times that may cause browsers with limited GPU to hang. Fix expected in V 1.4.3
- Overlays are not retained correctly when rotate and flip functions are applied, causing the overlay to shift off the image. This is a known issue in CS3D and a fix is in testing now.
